Overview
UCM Information Technology typically recommends a mid-range standard configuration that meets the needs of most users across campus. However, departments and individuals are not limited to the standard setup.
If a machine with higher or lower specifications is required to support specific workflows, specialized software, or departmental budget goals, those details can be included in the ticket request. Once submitted, IT can provide a customized quote tailored to the requested specs.
This flexibility ensures each department receives the right device for their needs, whether it’s a standard configuration or a custom build.
Standard hardware specifications for Dell devices can be found on the Dell Premiere Page for reference when making your request.
